  • Cooperation Project on Occupational Safety and Health

    • Cooperation Project on Occupational Safety and Health was jointly organised by SESRIC and Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety of the Republic of Türkiye (DGOHS) on 24-28 May 2010 in Ankara, Türkiye, with the participation of experts and directors of occupational safety and health from 7 OIC Member Countries, namely Azerbaijan, Jordan, Libya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Syria.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building Programme for OIC Member Countries (OSHCaB)

    • In pursuance to the recommendations adopted during the Cooperation Project in Ankara in May 2010, SESRIC developed Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building Programme (OSHCaB) and started to circulate a survey in order to identify the needs and capacities of OSH institutions in Member Countries to organise short-term training courses.   • OIC Occupational Safety and Health Network (OIC-OSHNET)

    • In line with the recommendations adopted during the Cooperation Project in May 2010 in Ankara, Türkiye, and in continuation to the efforts already exerted in the area of occupational safety and health, SESRIC proposed to establish an OIC Network for Occupational Safety and Health (OIC-OSHNET). The network was welcomed by the First Session of Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers held during the 19th World Congress on Safety and Health at Work on 10 September 2011 in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye. Since its initiation, the Directorate General of Occupational Safety and Health (DGOSH) of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye assumes the role of Secretariat of the Network

  • OIC-OSHNET Kick-off Meeting

    • OIC-OSHNET was kicked off with a meeting, jointly organized by SESRIC and Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety of the Republic of Türkiye (DGOHS) on 16-17 May 2011 in Ankara, Türkiye, with the participation of experts and directors of occupational safety and health, besides deputy secretaries of Ministries of Labour from 15 OIC Member Countries, namely, Albania, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kyrgyz Republic, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Senegal, Türkiye and United Arab Emirates.
