The OIC Technical Coordinator is responsible for sustaining regular communications with the National Focal Points, preparing, in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Network, the reports and the resolutions of the biennial meetings of the OIC-OSHNET and disseminating and archiving all the documents of the Network. SESRIC has been assuming this role since the endorsement of the OIC-OSHNET by the First Session of Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers held during the 19th World Congress on Safety and Health at Work on 10 September 2011 in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye.

The Secretariat of the Network assumes the responsibility for the preparatory process and the execution of the biennially held meetings of the OIC-OSHNET in collaboration with the OIC Technical Coordinator. The functions of the Secretariat have been performing by the Directorate General of Occupational Safety and Health (DGOSH), Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye since the establishment of the Network.

The National Focal Points are the national offices/ institutions that are designated and set up by national authorities in charge of OSH affairs in each OIC Member States. OIC Member States are the permanent Members of the OIC-OSHNET. The Member States are represented at the meetings of the OIC-OSHNET by the national OSH institutions or equivalent relevant national institutions.
